About
prague-based m.a.c. of mad operate at the collision point of industrial grit, digital hardcore and breakcore velocity. their sound is built from frantic, precision-cut beats, brute guitar fragments and caustic harmony, held together by a punk refusal to smooth the edges. it’s music that doesn’t aim for subtlety - it aims for impact: a supercharged cyberpunk surge where intensity becomes the message.
keep music evil is a short, concentrated blast that moves like a system overload: tracks snap from one hostile texture to the next, but the album never loses forward momentum. the sequencing feels like a single run of controlled chaos - from the opening ignition of “autodafe” through the pressure spikes of “signal” and “needle in the head”, to the closing drive of “neurodiesel”. the result is catharsis by acceleration: noise, discipline and volatility in the same breath.
underneath the abrasion, the record’s strength is its personality - hellish vocals cutting through the mix, machines pushed past their tolerances, and hooks that appear just long enough to leave a scar. pressed in a limited vinyl edition, it captures m.a.c. of mad at their most direct: hostile, kinetic, and strangely uplifting in its refusal to compromise.
